Tenuta Sereni’s 100% Modena EVO Oil 2023/2024 is ready!

This year too, from our Villabianca olive grove on the hills of Modena, we obtained the two variants, Dolz and Calancolle!

IL DOLZ: medium fruity, more delicate and sweet, obtained from the fully ripe harvest in November.

Data sheet:

  • Name: 100% Italian Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Color: Golden with green reflections
  • Taste: Delicate, medium green fruity, medium bitter with a light spicy aftertaste.
  • Perfume: Fruity with notes of almonds and artichoke, fresh olive.
  • Cultivars: Frantoio, Leccino, Moraiolo, Bianchera
  • Acidity: 0.22% +- 0.03
  • Best before: 18 months from the bottling date.
  • Storage: Store away from sources of light and heat, at a temperature between 18 and 25°C

IL CALANCOLLE: intense fruity, spicy, with notes of artichoke and almond, obtained from the early harvest in October – Oil reported in the list of GAMBERO ROSSO 2022 ITALIA OILS and by SLOW FOOD in the Guide to Extra Virgin Olive Oils 2023 “a return where the oil was lost” (cit.)!

After many centuries, the production of Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Emilia Romagna is growing again, and not only in the “Romagnola” part, therefore close to the sea and its beneficial climatic effects, but also on the “Emilian” side, as it was before the year one thousand.

These producers of EVO Oil also joined together in 2021 in a Consortium, the COER, i.e. the Emilia-Romagna Oil Tourism Consortium, for the promotion and valorisation of the Extra Virgin Olive Oil of Emilia-Romagna, which is slowly growing as a business and members!

“DOLZ” and “CALANCOLLE” are available in the 500 ml bottle with a simple and sophisticated design, which has a convenient anti-refill pouring cap (also regular for restaurants).
